Sail the seven seas?

How about the Gulf of Mexico? How about the 2010 MS State Clinic on board a cruise ship? What's wrong with having fun while learning? OK, now that we are on the same page....

Earn at least three quarters of your trip by helping at MS USAG sponsored meets. Prep Op Invitational Championship can be used for session points. The following are guidelines. Clarifications will follow if necessary.

Coaches:

Registered 10 athletes per year beginning 2007-08
Register 10 athletes for the 2008-2009 season
Register 10 athletes for the 2009-2010 season
(More than 10 would count for each coach, i.e. 11-20 another coach in the gym, etc)

A session is worth $50.00 each toward total of trip

Coaches and Judges:

Pre-meet - Decorations, equipment set up, etc. - 3 sessions
(Time frames will be set up for these sessions)
During the meet - Timing, awards, monitoring, etc. - 1 session per time slot (during state meet, this is over and beyond what each gym is assigned)
Break down - 3 sessions

Judges:

Auxiliary judging - 1 session per time frame

75% of the trip can be earned. 25% paid for by participant.

  • Who: MS USAG Professional members (families welcomed, but not paid for be MS USAG)

  • When: Summer 2010 (Booking Summer 2009)

Level 8 Percentages -

The percentage for the number of level 8 athletes that each state receives is now available for viewing. The percentage each state receives is determined from the total number of level 8 athletes in our region.

The information for the Prep Opt Regional Invitational Championship 2008 is complete and extensive. To navigate, go to Meets on the right side of the MS USAG home page, scroll down to Region 8 Prep Opt, and find the information you need. Check out the Forum on the About page. You can ask questions, make suggestions, etc. Each time a question is asked, it will be displayed and answered on the forum page. So, check often for updates.

MS USAG and Meet Control look forward to hosting this inaugural event. We welcome you to the Hospitality State and look forward to having you as our guests.
